Jim has been a member of the Club for seven years and on the Council for five. Stepping up from being the Vice President last year, to now holding the position of President, he is hoping to try and help promote the Club and expand its membership, so it can further deliver on its objectives of fellowship, charity and education.
As well as his efforts here in Singapore, Jim is also the Membership Secretary for Lighthouse Club International, the global branch of the Club which coordinates and liaises with over 50 existing LHC chapters worldwide, and helps in the establishment of new branches.
He is an Associate Director of BKAsiaPacific, a regional based construction consultancy practice, specialising in quantity surveying, dispute resolution and commercial and contract advice.
Outside of work and the LHC, his spare time is dominated by his wife and 3 young kids. What little time is left is enjoyed by being in the outdoors, travelling, photography and being a foodie.
Eric is one the oldest members of the Club and has together with Mr. Willie Kay and 10 others founded Lighthouse Club Singapore. He was very active in the running of the Club in the early days and had held various appointments. After 10 years not directly involved in the council, he is now back as the Vice President and would hope to see more could be done to promote the objectives of the Club.
Eric, who holds a BSc. Bldg, Dip Arb. MCIArb, AAIQS, started his career as a Contracts Administrator with Kingsfield (S) Pte Ltd in 1988. His training as a specialist in contracts, disputes and arbitrations involved him in contract management and dispute consultancy works with major construction projects mainly in the petrochemical industry. In a short span of seven years, he rose to the rank of Director.
His works tell him that many projects’ delays could be avoided if right people were there at the right time, and that got him the idea to form a recruitment and headhunting firm Kingsforce Management Services and to provide manpower outsourcing, recruitment and placement services at all levels of appointment and positions in the Energy, Construction, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical and Service industries. He is the Managing Director of Kingsforce and a mentor to his professional team of recruiters and headhunters for over 25 years.

First Officer (Publicity)
As a relatively new member of the Lighthouse Club I am honoured to be part of the council. Drawing more women in construction towards the club is one of my main aims.
I am the Founder and Managing Director of PLACE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD., a company that promotes sustainable building materials like energy efficient windows and of Magnetite Singapore Pte. Ltd., which installs retrofit double glazing for noise reduction.
Singapore has now been my home for 11 amazing years, where I particularly enjoy the ease of travelling, running in lush greenery and the quest for the perfect Tom Yam.

Sean is currently the Welfare Officer on the Lighthouse Club Singapore Council and is in charge of identifying individuals and families in need and managing financial assistance from the Lighthouse Club’s benevolent fund.
He is a lawyer with Pinsent Masons MPillay where he advises on infrastructure, energy and construction projects, with a particular focus on international arbitration and advising on risk management during project delivery
Prior to starting his legal career he worked as a lifeguard – where he performed many daring rescues in the shallow end of his local swimming pool – and also as a professional rugby player.
Third Officer (Events)
